“4″ = 4-cylinder
“53″ = 53 cubic inches per cylinder.
ALL two-stroke DDs have a super-charger, or more commonly referred to as a “blower”, and most highway vehicles also had the turbo.
Some stationary equipment didn’t use the turbo, but ALL had the blower.
